pwede siguro sir, because AFAIK VGT is just an accessory of 4d56 Engine, the problem is the ECU, Are the control units of GLX and GLS models are adaptable to handle the VGT Control?

Good Day tsikot,

newbie here, plan to buy MS GLS 4x2 ill use it sa province, ung issue ng 4x2 a/t engine LAG ramdam na ramdam po ba? sa probinsya kasi two lane street lang kaya ung pag oover take ay madalas pa isa isa at pasingit singit lang sa mga tricycle, pinoproblema ko lang baka nkakabitin dahil sa LAG ISSUE ng 4x2 a/t kasi most of the time me kasalubong agad..

di ka mabibitin dun sir lakas nun pwede ka naman magmanual sa matic kung gusto mo humataw sa D is left mo lang pwede na ipanghataw pitik pitik lang... kahit naka a/t ka malakas un sabi mo tricycle lang naman andyan sa inyo kahit jeep pa...

Smaller engine displacement for fuel economy. VGT to boost engine power of the smaller engine. The 2.5 engine with VGT will now produce 176PS from the original power of 136PS, while the old 3.2 engine without VGT produces only 163PS. Sa mga expert, IMO lamang po, Correct me if I am wrong.

sir, if you can afford the price difference of GLS vs sa new SE model with VGT, go for the SE model na lang if you really want power and speed. Mine is a GLS model and very much satisfied naman ako sa performance nito.

Meron na po units ng 2011 Montero with VGT. I think nasa Batangas pa. Confirmed is... it is a 2.5cc with VGT, GPS, new designed face. Price will not exceed 1.7M and launching is on late Feb daw. Full-spec is not being made public pa coz meron pa natitira 2010 models. We still have to dispose pa the remaining units. Actually, discounts have gone up from 10K to 30K (some dealers are even giving it at 35K discounts). I think even the 4x2s will sport the new face.

If its possible to do the Paddle shift/cruise control upgarde in Thailand then its possible to do it in the PHDM version.As long as the MICU and ECU's are the same.

In fact a lot of Civic owners had crusie control upgrade before honda phils. made it standard on some models. They noticed that JDM MICU and ECU was gthe same, so no reason why upgrading it with OEM parts would not work.

we just need a detailed shop manual to verify the parts.
