April 12th, 2011 05:31 PM #1Hello Guys,
Need your help,
Bought a lancer mx 2001, everthing else is seems to be ok,
but ive noticed that everytime im about to stop (or knob on D while stepping on the brake), the engine is greatly vibrating as if mamatayan. RPM down to 500, same as pag liliko.
I ve searched for threads here and saw that the MAF and IACV needs to be cleaned? would this somehow solve this problem?
I have a manual GLS and it doesnt have this problem.
Any input guys would help.
Thanks,

April 15th, 2011 10:14 AM #3Sir Istan,
Ang sabi nung first owner ay nag palit nga sya, about 3 months ago.
Sana nga by this time na re-learn na ng ECU yung change.
So what i did is reset the ECU, disconnecting battery then reconnected, then let the car run for 10 - 15 minutes. so far the symptom is still there, bumababa yung idle approaching a stop.
Thanks,
