December 24th, 2003 05:30 PM #1Hi Tsikoteers!
I just want to share with you guys what has happened to my lady officemate in skyway northbound late (Dec. 23, 2003 approx 11:30 p.m)
She's on her way home together with her friend when they suddenly noticed that they have lost the break while driving on the middle of the road, when they pulled over to check it out, my lady officemate got out of the car to see what’s wrong with it, after a while a Mazda car (she can't remember the plate#) pulled over to check what is going on, the driver of the car asked her what happened, then she replied “wala po okey na po may tiningnan lang po ako” the guy right there and then discreetly pulled out his handgun then told her “Miss alam mo naman siguro ibig sabihin nito” My officemate trembling in fear offered the car to him just to leave them in peace, the guy replied Miss ikaw na lang okey ka na!!! My officemate, helpless, terrified, and shocked, replied back: “Ma teka lang po kukunin ko po yung bag ko” She’s planning to run after uttering those words but couldnt move her damn legs, the guy noticed that she’s so petrified to move then told her:“Miss relaks ka lang masaya ito (with an evil grin on his face) After a couple of minutes a PNCC mobile patrol pulled over (unfortunately on the other side of the line) and asked them if everything’s ok, the guy, from that point, ran back to his car and speed away.
The mobile patrol failed to setup a road block saying that she couldn’t identify the cars plate number (she can only remember the make of the car, which is a mazda) They then escorted them to their complaint department for an incident report.
Hay nako hindi na talaga safe kahit san mag papasko pa naman napakadaming demonyo, buti na lang kahit papano dumating ang PNCC (heaven sent!!)
Yngat kayo, as soon as your car stalls, call for help ASAP) kahit sa secured na highway wala ng pinipili mga walanghiya.
That's it and merry christmas to all of you

Grabe. Kung andun ako, i swear, sinagasaan ko na yang hinayupak na yan. Sayang hindi natandaan nung lady yung Plate Number man lang. But of course, thats understandable considering the situation.

December 27th, 2003 11:29 AM #7la bang checkpoint malapit lapit dun? they could have radioed them to be on the lookout for a blue mazda -- and pay extra special attention to it

di ba may mga radio sila (PNCC)? bat hindi sila nag radio for a road blocks?plate no. ?!?! ilan bang mazda ang dumadaan sa skyway during that time 11:30pm? di kaya kasabwat sila at alam na nila modus operandi nun? puro tanong, walang kasagutan.

oh, and one more thing...
if you lost your brakes in the middle of nowhere, don't stop, slow down and drive to the nearest populated area, in this case the toll plaza. you still have your engine and hand/park brake to work with.
