Re: What is your average monthly expenses and how much do you save?
I learned my lesson well kaya ayoko na ng may monthly binabayaran. Fixed allowance for family and relatives 150k per month minsan double pag may mga okasyon at kung ano ano pang extra hingi nila. I closed my credit card sa foreign bank. Isa nalang sa BPI which hindi ko naman gusto basta nalang nag issue 52k limit hindi ko naman nagagamit . Minsan lang sa pag papa deliver ng pizza online hehehe at yearly financial help sa isang foundation which is about 50k per year. And hindi ko pinapatagal utang ko sa CC next day bayad agad. Monthly savings i cant say it here when it comes to cash hehehe mag kaka bukuhan ng sweldo. But at present time average investment for my BPI trade is 5k daily for the last 450 days. With 10% profit na. Im a risk taker when it comes to buying stock. Iniisip ko nalang its better than casino. And so far hindi pa ko natalo sa stock market. And when it comes to work I can say after 25 years Im fully relax at my career. Nakalipas na nga ang 5 months this year ng hindi ko alam ano pinag gagawa ko sa trabaho. Maghapon mag stock market at mag FB at mag basa ng news

my salary when i joined the government was P4,700. with five mouths to feed, it's still a mystery to me how my wife manage to make ends meet. yung tatlong anak ko, sa awa ng diyos, naka graduate naman lahat, kahit public school lang from high school to college (all of them graduated in UP). buhay namin talaga isang kahig isang tuka, up to now i still don't understand the concept of saving (alam nyo naman sa gobyerno our salary is never enough. you can never save, at kung maka save man barya-barya lang. that's why i can't understand how Binay becomes very rich). it was all deficit spending for us. i really had an opportunity to work with a private company because after i finished my banking and finance i was offered kasi nagiging honor tayo, but the uniformed service was just too impossible to resist. bloodline kasi. one time nga na preventively suspended pa tayo kaso daw overkill daw yung operation namin pero napawalang sala naman and we're vindicated in the end pero the damage had already been done to the family's coffers kasi walang sweldo during the period of preventive suspension. hirap talaga buhay ng pulis pag di ka pumasok sa kagaguhan. buti na lang natsambahan yung bar exam later medyo nakaahon pero wala pa ring savings. nang naggraduate na yung bunso ko i applied for optional retirement. i received a sizeable sum as my retirement benefits and my monthly pension is equivalent to the salary of the next higher rank. di pa rin kami nagsi- save, ngayon pa? i have no regrets working with government. it's public service, and the idea that i have done something for the public good is a source of pride. and things like these coming from one's superiors bring personal fulfillment that money can't buy--

May your tribe increase, bro... :bowako:
We need many many more people with similar, if not the same, level and intensity of conviction and integrity in our government and public services!

Re: What is your average monthly expenses and how much do you save?
When I was still an employee (5 years ago), my monthly gross salary of P80K is not enough to sustain the growing needs of my growing family. I decided to quit from work and put up my own business when I was 33.
I dont save that much. Instead, I invest a lot on real estate (kahit tig 100 sq/m lang na lupa)
Re: What is your average monthly expenses and how much do you save?
I only have 2 cars, a 5-year old ALTIS and 5-month old VIOS. Minsan, nagtataxi pa nga ako pag coding yung altis at yung vios naman ay gamit ni misis/mga bata.
Wala din ako bisyo maliban sa tsiks (hehehe). Minsan minsan lang kapag may natipuhan. But I only allot P5K only per tsik per night =)
