Did a lot of driver supervision today.
Damn kid can parallel park on her first try (all the time) and then screw up parking in a regular parking lot (with slanted parking spots).
My brother on law (from the PH) seems to be the more nervous of the two even though he started out with driving experience back in the PH. He needed a lot of input from me to finish his route. My kid's already passed him as far as driving within city limits. She's at the point where I bug her just to see if she can be distracted.
 Well, she can be distracted. So, I kinda backed off a bit.
And it is a general belief here that if you can drive in the Philippines, (Manila in particular) you can drive anywhere...
Baka hindi sanay sa automatic?....
The forthcoming standards audit.... :wonder:

^ pwede rin naman na nerbyos sa lapad ng kalsada dun
Naalala ko bigla kaklase ko nung college basta masikip tira ng tira ng pag hataw pero pag napunta na sa slex he freakin drives like a nanny...
I'm puzzled as well. I asked him why he felt so nervous. He said he's used to the crawling bumper to bumper traffic of Metro Manila. He's not used to doing prolonged jaunts of 55 mph outside city limits (near my home) and the 35-45 mph stop and go traffic of city streets. I can imagine he'd be terrified of 75 mph freeway traffic.
I have a feeling it's the length of time because he starts out okay and then literally falls apart somewhere in the middle of the drive and I end up having to give him instructions on everything just to get us home.
I'm a little concerned because he had such a huge head start in experience a month ago and now, my daughter has already passed him.
Bro.,- it would probably help if you share with him my experience and mindset (First time I landed there, I drove from SFO to San Diego because my other 2 more senior co-employees would just like to "rest", and I was the bunsoy....). You have to have an aggressive mindset and driving style when driving in the US. But, strictly follow the traffic rules... STOP is STOP and not crawling nor rolling... And you have to keep pace with the traffic speed....
Also, when merging,- I imagine myself to be a naval pilot, being catapulted for take off.... It works all the time...
I have to do it, as I need to be in the mainstream at the same speed as the other b*st*rds.....

Don't know where to put this and ayoko naman gawan pa ng dedicated thread.
So here it goes.
I ate lunch sa megamall, after eating may display si toyota cubao sa gitna. Nothing to do i inquired dun sa mga agents about the altis. Then the agent told me na may offered sila in a way good deal daw.
Altis 1.6V with a 50K discount
The catch.
Unit is ageing na daw, if im not mistaken january 2014 pa daw itong unit kaya need na madispose. Kaya laki discount offered.
Hindi kaya pang display sa mall or dealer kaya natagalan mabenta?
Test drive unit? (Do dealers tamper ODO?)
Too good to be true?
My questions.
Is it probable na maburo ng ganun katagal yung unit? To think its an altis and mabenta ito.
The reason is ageing na. Lets say nabenta ito 2015 na.
Anong model ito ituturing ng buyer? 2014 or 2015 model?
San ba nakabase si year model?
Date nabenta?
Date dumating kay dealer?
Date na rehistro?
