The Origin of the Species by Means of Crab Mentality

It all began during prehistoric times. Any Filipino ape who tried to stand up on its own two legs was quickly pulled down by the other apes. This "crab mentality" allowed the less talented apes to neutralize the superior abilities of the more talented apes.

As a result:
1) the evolution of the Filipino from ape to man was delayed.
2) Filipinos do not have a culture of excellence.
3) there are jologs among us.

i have been juggling this love-hate relationship with my country. it's the political system that i hate. i hate the voters catapulting these wicked politicians to power. despite all these, there is this part of me wanting to go back and help in putting justice back in shape. but i need to be selfish. i want to see myself retiring comfortably. sending my daughter (and the coming kids) to premier schools. although, i still believe that it is best to raise them in the Philippines. i want my kids to see that life is hard, teach them that convenience and security are attained through no other but hardwork.

there is just no complete package.

- people who blame the gov't why they are poor/unemployed but in the first place (they) don't strive to improve their own lives.
- people who finds fault in each and every gov't regardless who run it.
- and yes, the traffic jam in Metro Manila is the most epic of all that's why many resort to using AT in cars.
