The longest time you didnt change the engine oil of ur car?

'coz earlier sinipag ako dalhin sa casa yun isang sasakyan and based on their record 2 years ago ko pa pala na pa change oil...hehehe I know matagal ko na hinde napa change oil dahil hinde naman nagagamit 1 or 2 a month ko lang nagagamit yan particular vehicle but I didn't realized it has been two years...

Tagal din ah..

Di ko alam kung gaano katagal pero basta na-aalala ko 30,000km na walang change oil. Isuzu Trooper 4JX1

Diesel pa yan. Haha

pinakamatagal was only 3months+ pero less than 4.

shortest was 8 weeks.

every 5,000 km ang change oil

8 months for me.

edit: i just remembered one story dun sa shop na pinupuntahan ko; meron honda crv na pina-tow sa kanila kasi ayaw na umandar. after opening the engine bay nakita agad yung problem in just a few minutes - it turns out na natuyuan na ng oil yung makina.

now how long could that have been since the car last saw any form of maintenance? the crv was owned by a girl, btw.

Sa akin, at one point,- a little over a year - gasoline engine.... Hindi ko masyadong ginagamit ang van...

almost a year din hehe
fully synth gamit ko and antagal umabot ng 10000km kaya pinachange oil ko na lang din sa inip hehe

btw, ok lang ba ang ganyang katagal na interval kung twice or once a week lang nagagamit then approx 400 kms a month lang?

15,000kms when i was naive and first trying out synthetic oil, this was on our AE92 Toyota Corolla back in HS.

Now, yung isang car umaabot ng 1 year since that's how long it takes to reach 5,000kms (extra car).

yun 2X a month na gamit ko on that particular car wala pang 100kms siguro 70-80 kms lang... I don't think it's good kailangan pa rin regulat interval ang change oil either ginagamit or hinde...

8 months now with my forester, i rarely use it kasi. last time ako nag pa change oil nasa 8k+ pa lang tinatakbo ng kotse ko ngayon nasa 10k+ pa lang. what would be the downside ba? i rarely use my car as you can see and pag ginamit ko di ako na papadaan sa traffic since pag ginagamit ko forester ko week end lang and usually 5-10km lang tinatakbo kada gamit.

2+ years on a lancer mx. i sold the car in 2008, 7 years and it had only 54000km on the odo.

ngayon yung sta fe, every year ko lang pinapa-change oil. 3 years na siya 18000 pa lang odo nya. after 1 year kasi di ko na hinahabol ang warranty, lalo lang lumalaki gastos magpa-service every 3 months sa casa ng hyundai.
