Is it just me or do you feel it? I remember 10 years ago Christmas was much more fun... Kayo what do you think? Mas nagiging malungkot na ba ang pasko ngayon kaysa kungwari 10-15 years ago?

Overall Christmas is still Christmas. It is just that as we get older, our viewpoint of this holiday season has changed. Christmas is just something that is more enjoyed by the young.
As we get older, we have more obligations so Christmas tends to become more of a burden to us in the form of increased expenses and many social obligations/responsibilities like charities, parties, family etc.

naalala ko nung bata pako, October, November palang na-fi-feel ko na ang Christmas
ngayon kahit well into December na parang wala lang

Pero there are visible changes talaga. I remember dato 10 years ago mga kapitbahay naman pabongahan ng decorations. Ngayon may iba dyan wala ngang decorations ang bahay eh.

Yun na nga eh if people are lazy to put decors then the spirit of Christmas has already diminished... Putting up decors 10 years ago VS now still consumes the same amount of calories hehehe
