Re: Need advice: rent or purchase a home
10 years ago and with 2 kids, we lived in a house. Had to drive an hour going to work. Relocated to Manila, sold the house and bought a condo near the office. Let go of the househelps and do the chores ourselves. The smaller condo space is something manageable to maintain and the family bonding is a lot better.

ha ha ha! A lot of my driving are less than 1 km and I still take my car.
But when I am in the office I prefer to walk or uber because I don't want to lose my parking slot.

sabi ng friend ko who lives in teachers' village e dami daw akyat bahay going on there, almost same na ng scout area. dami kasi pwede daanan.
go a little further north to don antonio area, the prices are better. tiis lang sa traffic sa commonwealth, short distance lang naman from qmc to don antonio area. don't go any farther so di affected by ralies during the sona. avoid the east side also kasi lapit sa fault line, that is if you believe philvocs that the big one is coming this year.

Open pala yung teacher's village, it was my first time there, akala ko may guard/gate. Mixed din yung bahay, may small, medium and large :) The large ones parang built in the 70s or 80s?

Re: Need advice: rent or purchase a home

Pero kahit san naman kasi yan, condo or town houses, pag may balak talaga, makakapag nakaw yan in any way possible hehe.
Re: Need advice: rent or purchase a home
All the rest sa bahay pa rin ako.
