MRT tickets: what's the deal?

Does anyone have any inside info on this? in the first place, they should have anticipated that most of the cards would be reaching their usable lifespan; pero di ba dapat me naorder na sila by this time? it's not like the manufacturer would need to etch the cards out of stone di ba? a single machine could probably pump out tens of thousands of it per day -- tapos pa DHL, kinabukasan andito na!

saw in news last nite na ayaw tanggapin mga old cards, kaya galit na galit mga passengers. may new card na kasi.

dati nga nagkaubusan dyan ang nangyari papel na lang binibigay tapos yung mga guard nagsa-sign sa papel. kakatawa talaga. so pathetic.

afaik parang me nasisira sa card e, to the point na di na mabasa. it seems to have gotten a lot worse starting Monday. The guards seem to be controlling the number of people going in. either sobrang daming nakapila sa single pass tickets, or nagkakaubusan nga ng ticket.

just recently they resorted to cutting up defective cards in half, tapos ung binibigay sa tao.

ung stored value cards are only on sale only up to 7am lang. i guess i have to wake up early one of these days bago maubos ung stored value ko; hassle masyado ung pila, parang mas matagal ka pang nakapila kesa ung actual travel time

Nah. They're just using that as an excuse to cut up the old cards with Erap's face on it. Haven't you noticed the cut up cards look like the ones with Erap's face on it, except they use the side without his face?</Conspiracy Theory>

I dunno. Stored value cards seem to be missing, but the other day I bought a stored value card from Santolan which is a relatively deserted station. Shortage/conspiracy or not, it's annoying.

ayaw nila kasi ipagamit yung mga unused stocks na may picture ni erap.
sana yung mga susunod na mrt cards ay huwag na lagyan ng picture/slogan ng naka-upong presidente. todo sipsip kasi ang nauupong dotc secretary.
