Just curious. What is the reasoning for tenants and hired help having separate elevators?
Usually, service elevators are reserved for service folks who have heavy stuff to lug around such as a replacement freezer or furniture folks delivering furniture.
Hired help normally falls under caregiver which isn't the same as service folks, at least over here.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; November 22nd, 2014 at 05:26 AM.

Well because they've generalized that hired help doesn't posses the ethics of a civilized society, therefore they have no right to use the civilized folks elevator.
People with godlike complex can do that here. Somebody is going to get sued and pay if discriminatory rule like this is applied there.

Depende na din siguro kung katulad ng babysitter/maid ng neighbor namin na daisy pa at ***y at siya lang kasama ko sa elevator ay ok na din. takpan na ang cctv camera sa elevator.

Yan policy na yan is for elevator traffic management. para bawas wait time for tenants.
The only discriminatory thing about that is yun nagpost nyan using a malicious headline to make the post viral. binaluktot yun policy for likes, and internet traffic.

i don't know why this is such an issue, you go to hotels and don't complain when their employees are not allowed to use the guest elevator. people in the office wears a uniform and it's totally fine but when maids wear uniform nakakababa daw nag pagka tao. simple lang naman yan kung ayaw niyo yung policy di wag kayo bumili ng condo na may ganyan policy. condo's are private property and can enforce any rules they want as long as the unit owners approve it. karamihan ng nag cocomplain dito di naman nakatira sa condo so they have no idea what they're talking about.
