may nabasa ako, dapat daw "with REGARD to" not "with REGARDS to"..
baka may iba pa...

how about the phrase 'for a while' said on its own? sounds really weird to me.
our own version of 'just a minute/second/moment'.
another example is the redundant 'tuition fee'. although i don't think that's unique to Filipinos.
i remember some american colleagues telling me that our grammar is generally fine but they find our pronounciation of some words funny.Last edited by roninblade; October 24th, 2009 at 05:33 AM.

Dated several call center agents, but someone really stood out. Ang hilig nya magsalita ng kung ano ano para lang masabi na not the usual english ung sinasabi nya
"It's on the house" daw, she meant treat nya ko. I was like WTF?! On the house.... ROFL. Not stereotyping, pero madami nako nakita na mga call center agents na may pagka-social climber.
Ung iba naman, tagalog usapan english pa ng english. One good example is Pacman, local tv reporters lang nagiinterview puro english pa (minsan tagalog pa ung question). Dagdag nyo pa si Jericho Rosales...
