MANILA, Philippines – American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. may have a chance to fight a Filipino congressman after all, but not Sarangani representative and 8-division boxing champ Manny Pacquiao.

On Sunday, San Juan Representative JV Ejercito, son of former President Joseph Estrada, lost his cool and challenged Mayweather to a fist fight due to the latter's “racist” remarks against Asian athletes.

In his Twitter account, Ejercito called out Mayweather as "a racist punk" and challenged him to a fist fight. “*FloydMayweather is a racist punk! I am challenging you to a fist fight you moron!” Ejercito tweeted.

After several followers reacted to his tweet, Ejercito said he could not take anymore Mayweather’s tirade against the Asian athletes.

“(K)akapikon eh! *FloydMayweather has gone too far by issuing racial remarks against Asian athletes,” Ejercito told Twitter user *afparungao.

“Sobrang yabang ni Mayweather eh! Bastos kasi sa Asians. Makaisa lang ako don parang nanalo na rin mga Asian na binastos niya.” Told another Twitter user *mikeyflores.

Ejercito admitted he is no match against Mayweather in a fist fight, but said it is enough if he could “connect with one or 2 punches and hurt him.” So far, the American boxer has yet to taste defeat in a ring. He currently holds a clean 42-0 win-loss record.

“*afparungao Even if I don't win against *FloydMayweather, if I can only connect with one or 2 punches and hurt him, it is for J.Lin, Pacman!” he said.

“*liannami Hehe! That is if I can catch him! He is quick and always runs away, but if I get lucky, it will be for all the Asians!”

Mayweather has made several disparaging comments against Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. Recently, he also took aim at rising NBA superstar Jeremy Lin.
