LCD TV or PLASMA TV?

LCD TV gurus!! Help me out..

I got my xmas bonus and im looking to gift myself with something useful, and replace my 10 year old, 29inch Mitsubushi CRT TV

I've been looking around and wound up with 3 BRANDS that are somewhat giving me "good holiday prices".. and my budget is really Php50,000 since i need to set aside money to buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 hehe. But i considered stretching it just a little bit..

I really hope you guys could help me pick up the "right" tv that would last me another 10-15 years..

a. PHILIPS LCD
- 37 inch brand new release
- 2 hdmi
- 1080p capable
- FREE 5.1 home theater HD-DVD "tall boy stand" (not those small speakers)
- Php 58,000

b. SHARP LCD
- 37 inch brand new release
- 2 hdmi slots
- 1080 p capable
- ADD Php 2,500 for HD-DVD and 5.1 Home Theater
- Php 50,000 + 2,500 = Php 52,500

c. PANASONIC PLASMA
- 42 inch
-2HDMI slots
- 1080p capable
- ADD Php 5,000 for HD DVD and 5.1 Home theater
- Php 53,000 + 5000 = Php 58,000

d. PANASONIC LCD
- 37 inch
- 2hdmi slots
- 1080p capable
- ADD Php 5,000 for HD DVD and 5.1 Home theater
= Php 40,000 + 5000 = Php 45,000


well those are the brands and to be honest i was really willing to settle for a 37incher but that 42inch plasma would really really look good, and it somewhat fits the budget.. hehe

What should i do? What should i settle for? Any other suggestions?
