June 14th, 2005 04:46 PM #1on my way to the office .. there was this school bus that cut me and beat the red light ... the way school bus drivers drive nowadays ... walang hiya .. no respect for traffic rules ... i guess kelangan talaga nila bilisan dahil dami kelangan sunduin at kelangan makarating kaagad sa school .. pero i'm thinking, what kind of values will these kids have if they are exposed to this kind of driving ... when i have kids, i think i'm better off bringing my kid to school ...

you just can't avoid using the school bus to bring your kids to school, unless you work at home or doing your business at home. its better than let's say letting them commute. it is also a better way to teach your kid independence without the bigger risks that commuting has. but in my case, the school service who is bringing my kid to school is an old family friend, so i really trust the guy (who drives and owns the van himself). and besides, my kid just attends the school within the village where i live. siguro mga 1 km lang yun school from our house.
in your case, wala bang contact number mark yung vehicle na nag cut sa iyo? pwede mong tawagan yun and report the incident, for the benefit of the kids.Last edited by 1D4LV; June 14th, 2005 at 05:04 PM.

hard call kung di mo kaya talaga mag hatid (esp lower grades since their classes are not that long)... kung large bus siguro mas kampante ka, pero mga AUV/Jeeps/Old bus na maliliit nakakatakot nga, esp kung malayo yung byahe...

June 14th, 2005 07:06 PM #6Hard decision to make but for us that do not have the liberty to "hatid-sundo" our kids, no choice na. Sabay na lang ng dasal for the safety of our kids.

ideally i would want to bring my kid to the school myself. Kaso, enjoy nga sa schoolbus. Yoko naman i deny sa kanya yun (ahahaha as if eh noh?) I just need to entrust my kid to a driver particularly siguro sa mejo may edad na para nde na maangas sa daan.
