na delete kasi yun unang thread ko...here's the story why the change of heart toward them...
I was admitted to hospital two saturdays ago for 3 days for supposedly Dengue, I was given the test and it was positive the virus affected my liver got an elevated SGPT...so doctors order for my admission.
I never had the usual dengue symptoms, rashes, high fever., body aches, orbital pain etc. but test came out positive, platelets was below normal so..what the heck. before that for the past 2+ weeks I just feel weak in the afternoon and feverish but no actual fever. I just let it pass thinking it was nothing and I;m just feeling tired. 'coz everytime I get home and feel feverish I just run it off. I jog for 8-10k every night around the village and after sweating it out nawawala naman yun feverish feeling. but feeling never improved. never took any medicine just paracetamol a couple of times to eased my uncomfortable feelings.
I just had my complete blood test last week of July and everything was normal..so I'm not worried about any sickness.
so two Saturdays ago my wife decided to bring me to the ER 'coz I was not improving and long story short I was admitted. so I had 3 days of doing nothing just lying in the bed and pondering about life, surfing the netwaiting for my 3 square meals plus snacks in between to delivered to my room...
in the morning pala they gave me menu and I can choose what foods I want for my meals and snacks the next day...
granting I had two specialist, private room and bunch of test done.. but no major test actually the major test was just the whole abdominal ultrasound, no medicines just two sachets of IV or 3 then inalis na my bill for 3 days was 75k+,
I was thinking if a patient w/o the means, how can they stay in the hospital bed and recover, how can they get well and not think of anything when they are thinking where are they gonna get the money to pay for the bills...I mean life is really unfair. I saw a lot of people dying of dengue in the news, was it bec they can't pay for specialist? were they afraid to bring their children to hospital bec they are afraid of the expenses..WTF?
so mahirap walang ginagawa na nakakulong lang and sick you got the time to think of things na hinde mo naiisip...it makes me realized I'm lucky and need to be more understanding to the less fortunate...I now trying to understand why they complain a lot...that's the only thing they can do...PUJs stop everywhere 'coz if they don't they can't feed their family. survival of the fittest..why would I blow my top when a puj suddenly stop in front of me? that's his livelihood his family's dinner depends on that one passenger he need to pick up before the others and I got the gall to be mad when I'm just on my way to the mall or to a fancy restaurant...see?
now I won't suddenly become mother Theresa. I'll still have my moment with them but at least it makes me a little more human...what I'm just trying to say is they really deserved more understanding and patience from us...the luckier one...
and another thing they are to blame for their lives but kahit anong sipag gawin nila I don;t think they will ever get out of their lives..masipag naman mga PUV drivers and other blue collar workers. unless it's pre destined like Pacyou..don;t tell me other boxers doesn't work in training as hard as him...I mean destiny na talaga niya na maging ganyan buhay niya.
so uls magbago ka na!!!!
