October 12th, 2003 04:59 PM #1In true Fast/Furious style, Underground goes nuts with the imports and customisation thereto. At least 18 vehicles available for in-depth tweaking include the Subaru WRX, the Skyline GT-R, the Ford Focus, the Honda RSX, another rather experimental-looking Nissan, and the street racer no sane municipality will donate to Games Domain if they know what's good for them, the Mitsubishi Eclipse.Any game in this genre has to let the player go crazy with customization, of course, and Underground has it all; bumper kits, paint jobs, spoilers, skirts, headlights and more alter the exterior appearance, while under the hood, the more substantial upgrades crank up horsepower, off-the-line torque, "acceleration augmentation," handling and other automotive verities to satisfyingly trans-legal proportions.

i hope they use the gameplay engine from nfs: hot pursuit 2...the only enjoyable nfs game for me
before that the nfs franchise had really crappy gameplay imo, which pissed me off because ea has exclusive licenses for all the cool cars (ferrari, porsche, lamborghini, bmw ///m, etc.), and you couldn't play a great game with the cool cars (gran turismo for example)
