We typically go out for lunch during Sundays... We tag along our househelps and they eat what we eat.... Bonding time...
If we have family dinners or affairs, we also tag them along if it is going to be in one of their places and not catered....
If restaurants, then just us and the kids.... We understand that it is now expensive to dine out...

^ Hirap din ngayon is both parents have to work already so napapabayan sa yaya ang iba. We only have one househelp sa bahay and nung summer we survived without any (hirap but we got through). even now our kid learned to sleep siesta in the afternoon since she waits up for us to arrive from work in the mid to late evening so we can study/do the assignments. I learned that the hard way also.
This evening we had dinner with some friends at Marquee Mall. Kami lang ang walang dalang Yaya... (note: the yayas of our friends ate with us... Hassle, malaki tuloy yung bill ko since we were treating! Although we only announced this when the bill came). One thing i noticed is my kid seemed more mature then the others and behaved more like an Ate already. The kiddies also dont complain about being buckled down in the child seats sa car because we travelled a lot without the yaya to just hold them in the back.
Laking bagay din pag may playmates or siblings ang kids; they dont mind being left at home. Pag maraming gagawin, it's really better to just leave em at home so you can get more things done and you can return home earlier to spend time with them or go out to eat together afterwards.Last edited by vinj; August 24th, 2014 at 01:09 AM.

It is good that she is provided a ride and a driver, hoping that the driver observes proper hygiene... Air conditioned taxis are not reprieve there as the drivers are skunks, really...
And most importantly, make sure the doors are double-locked when she enters her room...
But curry pizza is good, huh?
