If I may, there is a big difference in terms of recoil between the 2 calibers sir Sean. Although the 19 and 23 are both compacts so their sizes and dimensions are almost identical, the higher recoil of the more powerful Cal. 40 of the Glock 23 may not be to everyone's liking. Especially for a small sized handgun like the 23. If you cannot tame the recoil, follow up shots will be difficult.
Even with bigger models like the G22 vs the G17, you will feel the difference. Even more so with the G23.
Good luck, stay safe on the range sir.

November 28th, 2019 08:26 PM #1107Sorry nada...about calibers, im not too picky bout them, if an individual gets hit by a 9mm, 40 or 45, the effect is still the same..my only concern is control and weight..of course the lighter the pistol the harsher it is...so for a light gun...9mm is perfect..

November 29th, 2019 07:54 AM #1109Basta eto lang ang rule ko
Get the Cal .40 if you plan to be a sharpshooter in the long term, coz the .40 is a very good practice weapon
The problem with 9mms is that there are so many entry level guns around in the 9mm ammo range, most of these guns are not really very handy on the grip or masyado mabigat ang bakal, therefore sacrificing accuracy in the range, unless you get the Glock 17s.
The best grip is the .45 gun, pero a .45 is a very deadly bullet in the body, so the logical thing is to get the competition .40.

May friend ako na police, advise niya dati to have an unregistered paltik gun in the house , once you shoot the BG in the house and killed him, plant the gun in his hand and shoot it sa door or wall etc to justify self defense that the BG shoot to kill you.
