December 3rd, 2024 06:35 PM #2126Haha metric system is a lot easier. There was a time in the 70s that the US was supposed to shift to the metric system but didn't push thru. I think there was also a blunder in NASA (?) when they were coordinating with space agencies of other countries, & somehow forgot they were using a different system. Construction here in the Ph, you have to know both as some are bought using imperial, some are bought using the metric system.

rumor had it that the 'merican freeway system was posed to convert to km, until they found out how much it was gonna cost them to replace all those miles signages, with kilometers signage...
