folding bed / military cot

hi peeps, has anyone used this sort of bed/cot:




i used to see this at Ace Hardware pero parang pinullout na. Matibay ba to?

we have this at home. matibay at maganda ang pagkakagawa.

dinala ko dati sa apartment. ok lang naman pero di sya ok gabi gabi tulugan. lundo, o bagsak kasi sya like other folding bed so di lapat likod mo at di pantay. eventually na-feel ko na masakit sa likod. mas mabuti pa ang kutson na ilatag sa sahig.

pero kung extra bed lang and for use from time to time ok naman sya.

o baka bad posture lang talaga ako kaya masakit likod ko nung halos araw araw ko ginamit.

that's milspec folding bed when you are mobile in the jungle or desert. used just for temporary locations and typically not used in the house. the middle sags if the weight of the user is above 150 pounds,, we only used them if the ground was wet or has too many critters like scorpions, centipedes, spiders and snakes. if the ground was dry and free of insects, i preferred sleeping on the ground on the sleeping mat and/or sleeping bag.

tanong ko nga sa ace hardware mamaya baka meron pa...

We have one like that which I bought sa Puregold around 10years ago (around P900-1000 lang ang bili ko)...upto now okay pa, nakakalas ang canvas para malabahan ng husay, the bag is canvass also. Matbay pa rin upto now.

The canvass material is like the old military tent.

Pero hindi ganyan ang binebenta ng ACE. So I'm not sure kung matibay ang galing sa ACE.

hmm, napaisip tuloy ako. i like that it isn't too bulky when folded up, pero nananakit yung lower back ko sa ibang folding beds, or if the mattress is too thin. i was hoping mas comfortable siya.

pag summer init din tulugan niyan at hirap bumangon sa ganiyan para kang nilulunon ng cot.

try shopping at (marina market-tama nga ba???) dau pero minsan outrageous ang pricing nila. pero military grade material talaga.
