Creating thread as I am interested in buying a TP00 model. Kindly share your experience if you have one even if not the same model.

Has anyone tried to substitute the original filter for replacements? I was thinking that the replacements are cheaper as they are just PM 2.5 while the orig is PM0.1. Orig costs 4900 kesos while there are replacements as low as 700 to 2000 kesos.

Longevity and warranty: how old is your unit and have you claimed warranty.

    Thanks tsikoteers!

we have one (same model) sa living room... pero we use it as an "electric fan," bonus na lang na air purifier sya.

more than a year na sya pero we haven't replaced the filter (malinis pa) since naka A/C naman yung house and may Xiaomi air purifiers din kami.

IMO... as a fan, mahina sya compared to the usual stand fan (7 and above sya palagi, 10 ang max)
as an air purifier, I guess it works naman kasi may filter nga sa ilalim

some issues I have against it.

its the most basic model ng Dyson, some countries no longer have the TP00. it has no sensor kung gaano kadumi ang hangin, it also has no sensor to tell you kung dapat nang palitan yung filter.

heavily dependent ka din sa remote.

compared to the other models ng Dyson, ok na din especially the size since mas manipis din sya compared to better/higher end models.

How would you compare the breeze to a standard 3 speed stand fan at say 5 and 7? And the noise? Thanks.

I have a Dyson AM07, same as the TP00 but without the air purifier.

Air sufficient for my condo. I typically have it at level 2-4 only.

I used to have a stand fan but the Dyson is much quieter and looks much nicer.

How about if you bring it up to max, how noisy is it compared to a stand fan?

Dyson on max (10) is still quieter than stand fan on max (3).

Stand fan on max has more airflow though. Max on Dyson is as strong as maybe 2 with a stand fan. Dyson still quieter at 10 vs stand fan at 2 though.
