December 27th, 2013 05:30 PM #1um, afaik hindi naman siya "monster fish" in the sense that it attacks people or any other animals in the water. Sa aquarium they tend to suck on bigger docile fish(e.g. goldfish) kasi kinakain niya yung slimy film coating. Mainly algae eater siya na opportunistic feeder, i.e. pag me dead/dying fish na kaya niyang hulihin, game!
i think the danger is more about them starving out the local fish species. They also poop a lot i think so magiging polluted yung rivers.
They do have some spikes though, so malas lang kung maapakan.
imho snakeheads, tiger fish, etc are a bigger danger.Last edited by badkuk; December 27th, 2013 at 05:33 PM.
