    Residents of a China city have criticised a statue showing an old man and two women in nude.

    The sculpture, named Fu Lao (Help the Elderly People), was placed in Guilin's Guanyuan International Community two weeks ago.

    According to the description, the woman on the old man's left is his wife while the other is his daughter-in-law.

    Initially, the statue was to promote harmonious relationship among a family, helping each other and respecting the elderly.

    But most of the residents were not comfortable seeing the nude figures and hoped the authorities could put clothes on the trio.

    They have also called for it to be removed.

    The statue later became a hit on the Internet after photographs of it was posted online several days ago.

    There were also people who praised the artist, saying the sculpture was very artistic.

    According to the community's developer, the statue, which cost tens of thousands of yuan, was based on a popular folk story in South Korea.

    The company said they would call for a meeting with the residents to discuss if the statue would be removed.

    actually no need to cover up the offending part of the sculpture.

    in contrast, the 200+ nude sculptures in oslo's vigeland sculpture park are more realistic but they don't come across as lewd as lolo, haha!
