I have not gone to work

I'm very torn because I have a great boss and colleagues but it seems like it's not enough anymore to keep me enthusiastic at work

Exactly. Never decide when you are not at your normal state. Always think it over and look at the repercussions.... if you do resign, best to also have another job lined up with a signature on the dotted line.
