September 21st, 2011 11:40 PM #2I always wanted an S124 because of its practicality... But since prices and rarity of an S124 (especially a 300TDT A/T) is something of an issue, I am now a proud owner of a W124 260E...
Like you, I feel like I'm on the wrong place at the wrong time when Nelson posted those yummy S124s... One of these days I just might be able to get THE ONE...

September 26th, 2011 09:52 AM #3i was once a "satisfied" owner of a gorgeous w201 but when i chanced upon an s124 that fitted the specs that i was dreaming of - euro, manual, diesel - i sold my beloved 190e with a heavy heart and got the s124 of my dream :-) no regrets though, sarap talaga ng s124. very functional, economical, and never goes out of style.
300tdt's are really, really, really hard to come by. aside from the rarity, the price tag was really one of my concerns :-( meron dito sa may amin sir binebenta pero mukhang durog na durog na sa gamit ng huling owner e. internal hemmorhage na ng bulsa sigurado aabutin ng sunod na owner nun :-)

September 28th, 2011 03:35 PM #4I saw an advert recently that an S124 300TDT A/T 4Matic's for sale somewhere in central Luzon. It's Euro spec with all the bells and whistles and selling at 440K. Considering the rarity of S124 300TDT A/T's in the country and this one's a 4Matic to boot, this just might end up in a heap because no one might not be able to repair it save for CATS, and would cost you your soul...
I stick to my W124... Hehehehehehe...
