Aside from those books, there are only a few more novels that I took time to read.

Red Storm Rising - my all time favorite
Without Remorse - story of John Clark
Rainbow Six - coincides with the storyline of Executive Decision and, The Bear and the Dragon

The rest of the new ones focus on the story of The Campus and Jack Ryan Jr.

My top 3 Clancy books have got to be:

    Patriot games
    Hunt for the red October
    Debt of honor

I still think Osama bin laden got the idea of crashing a commercial airline on ny’s world trade center was taken from the 3rd novel I listed down. But in that book it was a Japanese madman who splashed his airplane on the us capitol during a high level session of Congress.

Also, Clancy foresaw the spratley islands and the rest of the west Ph sea as a dangerous powder keg in the future. I just can't remember in w/c book he expounded on that.

It was not Tom Clancy. The novel “Sky Masters” was written by Dale Brown. It talks about Chinese occupation of Spratlys and a few other islands. The Pinoys fought back with massive US support.

i had to squeeze and wrack my brain pero he wrote about this current west Ph sea powder keg in his novel cum "undersea war manual" entitled ssn. hindi ko lang siya natapos basahin kasi too technical for me (and kinuha na ng may ari pagkatapos ko isantabi pansamantala ). actually i barely started reading it nung binaba ko siya "temporarily".

Ay yung SSN pala. I always thought of it as the game. The novel/game highlights the capabilities of the 688-class or Los Angeles class of nuclear attack submarines. Dami terms na not commonly used like - boats refer to an attack submarine, boomer is a ballistic missile submarine, tin can is a destroyer, fish is a torpedo, nixie is a decoy, etc.

Red Storm Rising is about the same with a lot of modern military jargons and geek stuff. Wider scale lang yung focus ng conflict compared sa SSN.

    White noise

Adam driver stars in a quirky black comedy set in the mid -80s ( if I'm not mistaken). Parang Halo Siya Ng m. Night shyamalan directed "the happening" at stranger things (although I have yet to watch the said series).

    The snowman - 6/10

A Michael fassbender noir starrer from Sweden w/c falls a bit flat. The supposed crime thriller just wasn't thrilling enough.

It's just Too bad because I really usually like these brooding and depressing style of Nordic storytelling. The no frills type progression of their storyline is just refreshing to me.
