Agree on both fronts. There's nothing harmful with having a critical mind and not believing their claims at face value.
Totoo din that these deals that they have are typically not taxed. Google Adsense revenue is taxed by Google and not the local gov't so wala pakinabang gobyerno diyan. Sa sponsorship deals naman, hindi lahat declared sa gobyerno.
On the sponsor's end, typically declared yan since most MNCs naman malinis ang taxes. But on the influencer's end, parang negosyante lang yan pwede nila iunderball yung figures.
If 1/3 of my income goes to the government directly, they should be taxed fairly too.
