FINALLY sent in Aibo for the long-overdue windshield replacement. The dealership really isn't making this easy or straightforward. Argh.
After this, I can move on to some other mods...nothing major, of course.

From an experiment on TV, they say that you should be worrying problems other than a windsheild crack since those glasses are laminated and wouldn't shatter easily. But if it's bothering you since it's getting longer and your wallet can handle the damage, why not!

That's true, but the crack is also a hazard because it potentially introduces glare into the driver's vision with the way it bends light. This is most evident in hot summer days. All it takes is one spot of glare, really.
In Florida the state requires insurance companies to replace any and all broken windshields FOR FREE. ;)

By the way I got Aibo back, windshield replaced and all, yesterday at lunch.
The way it all boiled down, insurance paid for 2/3 of the windshield replacement parts and labor.
Unfortunately my village stickers went along with the old windshield...and my eyes took a while to adjust to the absence of tint in the hot noontime sun. Still mulling over bringing back the tint, though.
Next stop is Caliraya on Saturday. Still no new tires, though, so the white Circuit 10s soldier on...
