July 10th, 2013 05:39 PM #3+1. Hehe, based on my own experience. I have an '08 hatch. Sa pang-ilalim, syempre depends on where you drive and how you drive, but to give you an idea, I already have 95k on my odo, and have replaced all shocks (once), a set of rear stab links, a set of engine mounts (twice, although covered by warranty), and I think I need to change something underneath again. But that's just me, and as I said, my unit is approaching the century mark. As for gas consumption, I'm getting maybe around 7km/L on mostly city driving.

Lakas sa gas & mabagal.
Pero for me, di naluluma looks niya. And I think, Mazda's interior is something you can brag about. DI siya mukhang cheap.

July 10th, 2013 07:00 PM #6Yep. Ganda interior. Classy. Very prone lang sa gasgas yung emblem sa steering wheel especially kung naka relo ka lagi. Yung 7km/L ko naman either short distances lang (Pasig-Ortigas) or traffic ridden (Pasig-Makati or Pasig-Monumento).

July 11th, 2013 09:49 PM #9Well, like any car, depends on driving habits and conditions. I've heard of others na nakaka 8-9km/L sa city driving. As mentioned by 1D4LV, replacing the filter, adding headers, and maybe even a chip can improve response, and maybe even improve consumption a little kasi mas gaganda yung power-to-weight ratio mo, although not by much. Also, pag nag upgrade ka kasi, mas masarap i-drive so baka ma-offset din yung economy gains mo from the upgrades. Hehe.
Sakin lang pag binili mo na yan, enjoy mo lang. Although sabi mo nga wife mo naman gagamit, so you/she *might* be better off with something else.

October 24th, 2015 11:10 PM #10I have mazda 3 hatchback. Pogi and always in style. Nde ko na namamalayan un gas pero un pangilalim is kinda covered with insulatiion which makes it suspect in terms of panilalim quality. Overall still happy except for the key transponder which i find it hard to source.
