June 19th, 2013 09:38 PM #983they said it will undergo an investigation since according to them this is isolated. However, based from the number of cx7 that i see on the road with problems like mine, i dont think it is. I even tried to research on this in the web and found similar complaints from cx7 owners abroad.. Try looking more closely into your tail light you'll notice it will start to bubble due to the heat of the bulb then eventually it will bore a hole..You can identify this with other cx7 cause their tail light will reflect partly white and not totally red when the brake's or dim light's on.. honestly i feel disappointed that a car costing this much have this kind of an issue..I just hope I can collate other complaints from forum members to prove that this is a design flaw and definitely not an isolated case..here are the links of the complaints from abroad..
