Agree on the CVT avoidance but that 6 speed is ancient. 5th and/or 6th gears are overdrive gears rendering you with little to play with when you wanna have fun. Yeah i know it has a broad torque curve but thats just me though. I like spending time in the upper reaches of the rpm range.

And PnP paddle shifters? Where can i find those? And who installs them?

Did a DIY on my 2DJ. All OE except that I opted for an old school wheel. Parts include paddles from the 3, harness & even clockspring w/ paddle terminals. You can use the 3's rear steering cover that has paddle slots.
