A friend of mine was also considering a used CX-5, an AWD one to be specific.
1. He found a 2019 one with about 32k mileage priced at ₱1.39M (it was listed at ₱1.41M initially).
2. It's the 2.5 Skyactiv gas variant, which is supposedly more reliable than the diesel.
3. I wonder if a second owner can still get the free PMS transferred.
4. Ok daw android auto (wired), the head unit is the 7-inch one
5. Good question, I hope others here can answer
6. Rode with him on the test drive and car rode great.
My hunch is that 2017-2018 models should be cheaper since the 2019 already had the TRAIN law to contend with (is my recollection correct)?
In any case, it was a great car when it got released and is still a great car today. My only worry is that PMS costs would be considerably more expensive than Toyota, Nissan, Mitsu or maybe even Honda.

Yojin5 was conceived during the pandemic. This is transferable. If the car was bought in the yojin3 period, then it has long expired.
SkyG 2.5 is reliable. Don't Sky D!
All MzdConnect infotainment systems can have AA/CP module added if they came w/o.
The CX5 KF has been a proven solid platform. All Skyactivs are very tunable, too. Prices are relative to car condition more than age. I personally prefer the early KFs. They were simpler & came CBU from Japan.
PMS costs? Don't fear. They're not much different from Toyotas & Hondas. My Sky oil changes cost me around 5k. ATF swap interval ideally at 60-80k kms...single drain & fill would take around 4L of Mazda Lifetime FZ fluid, Php650/L from the dealership back in 2019.

July 13th, 2023 05:41 PM #1053No complaints in my CX5, I got it late 2017 (2018 model) prior the Train law implemented in Jan ‘18. Still CBU from Japan.
Just recently replaced the ATF at 40K+, i should have followed Travs to wait until 60K+.
