Super hassle to take public from the two points.
The long shot would be:
* take a jeep to Pasong Tamo
* take another jeep to PRC then get off at Kalayaan
* take another jeep going to Guadalupe and that takes you to Power Plant.
Going back is the same but opposite:
* take ANY jeep going the opposite direction (Delpan, Bukid or Herran)
* get off at PRC then take LRT Taft or Mantrade jeep
* get off at Pasong Tamo - Buendia intersection then take Bel-Air or Guadalupe jeep to MIT Makati
Hassle diba? Pero that's your best shot. If you are going with a companion or two, take a cab. It won't cost you more than Php100 to and back.

Tapos pag dating sa Rockwell, amoy usok na because of the jeepney ride in the traffic, dyahe sa chicks dun. :D
But yes, best to take a cab if you're 3-4. Tell the driver to go via Jupiter then Makati Ave./Burgos St. onto Kalayaan - Rockwell.
Kung Jeep, pwede rin yata Buendia then you get off at Makati Ave. Ride another jeep heading to Guadalupe then get off at JP Rizal and take another jeep until the front of Rockwell.
