Went up to Baguio today. I prefer going up on weekdays since there are much, much less people.
Left Petron NLEX at 3:30pm, arrived at the checkpoint at Kia Baguio at 6:30pm. From there to Manor, around 25 min with moderate traffic during Baguio’s weekday rush hour.
As mentioned by other forumers, Marcos Highway was awful as expected. So many slow trucks leading to long queues, really had to use horsepower to overtake otherwise I’d get stuck in a long train. Uneven cement slabs now mixed with lots of construction sites so it really ruins your flow.
Can’t wait for Kennon to reopen to the public. Might just take Tuba-Asin going home to avoid the trucks.
Perhaps the only consolation is the beautiful sunset on the way up:
