You can now use your Android phone for GPS navigation, even if you have no internet connection. I use Mapfactor Navigator Free in my Myphone Agua Iceberg. The large screen and quadcore CPU helps a lot. I bought a cellphone holder for 100pesos in Quiapo and stuck the holder on the windshield. At the same price you have a GPS and a dual sim cellphone, to boot. If you find this phone too big, you can scale down to the Myphone Vortex.

Waze is a good app, but the biggest disadvantage is that you have to be on a data plan to be able to use it. For offline (no 3g required, just a GPS connection) navigation try using Sygic and Osmand. Osmand is free on Google Play and Sygic can be downloaded online (cracked version).

I bought last year here at this seller in sulit a map with Navitel Navigator:
Offline Gps Navigator Map For Android Phone And Tablet Like Garmin - Brand New For Sale Philippines - 32201496
That works with my Huawei Android Phone and Android 4.1.1.
Sometimes the spoken comands are not good, maybee the translaton from russian to english is bad, i watch the signs at the phone display and they are good all the time.
Keep in mind that this is a cracked version from Navitel Navigator (with the free map from Roadguide Philippines).

The legal version from the Navitel Navigator you can find in google play store and the map you can download free at Roadguide Philippines.

I been using Mapfactor too for more than ayear now, it's a very good android app, since then hinde na ako naliligaw sa mga pinupuntahan ko. Ang maganda pa ay offline siya. I tested several nav apps but i found this to be the best.

Loui Anson Ng....try downloading Mapfactor Navigator and compare Sygic to it. Meron ako dati Sygic pero nung matry ko ang Mapfactor ay tinanggal ko na at mula noon ay Mapfactor na ang gamit ko.
