    Go back to stock settings:
    185/55/R16 or 185/60/R15.

The former will look better since the rims are bigger, but the latter will give you more comfort due to the larger tires. Either way you will get the standard mpg.

It depends. You are now on 205/55/17 wheels, 205 is a lot wider than 185 (stock), so basically there is more wheel resistance resulting to less mpg.

However, if you are using light weight rims then it is possible that you are getting better mpg than using stock rims, since stock rims are heavy though durable.

I see, so there are a lot of factors that can contribute to better mpg or lesser mpg. I'm not sure though if my rims right now are lightweight currently I'm usinf a Schumacher R17 rims not sure if it's an original or just copy of Schumacher rims. Btw if I may ask if I go down from 205/45 R17 to 205/50 R16 would there be a considerable improvement on mpg? Another thing that I think would be beneficial is that if I go down to R16 is that the prices for tires would be lower due to that lower size tires would be cheaper right?

Hi, its very complicated. Check this article, it should answer all your question. How Bigger and Smaller Wheels Affect Ride, Handling and Performance

One more advise, size 16 tires are hard to find, very few cars are running on r16. They are not available all the time unlike R15 tires.
