Anong bagay na rims at sukat ng gulong sa pizza pie 97? stock is 14 right? okey ba ang 16? or masyadong itong malaki?ano ang impact nito sa performance ng car?do I need to change anything(sa stock) aside from the gulong? (e.g. shocks?springs, etc?) salamat sa mga sasagot... I need opinions before I change the stock wheels and rims sa pizza pie. ty again.

IMO 16 inch rims for the 97 Lancer is still small. Stock nyan is 15 so going +1 wont net you that much visual difference. a +2 or even a +3 will definitely change the look of your car. I have a 99 GSR and the biggest rims that I have used are 18 x 7.5 inch rims with 215 x 35 series tires...believe it or not walang sayad pero its such a pain to use everyday so I changed it na lang into Work Mesh 17's with Contisports 215 x 40 series tires. with regards to the design ay iba-iba naman tayo ng taste so it will ultimately boil down to your preference. you will need to change the springs so that the fender gap will be smaller and para exactamento yung tayo ng kotse...hindi parang truck. Tanabe springs ang gamit ko and the ride is firm pero tolerable naman. Impact sa performance? babagal ka sa acceleration for sure lalo na pag 17 and up ang nilagay mo pero the handling will be sharper and more agile lalo na pag 40 series with performance springs. good luck sa investment mo bro.

pareng meshtype. gsr yung sa iyo? ang stock kasi ng gsr is 15", but sa other lancer variants (GL, GLXi, GLX, GLS, MX) is 14".
imho, 16" is ok. kasi medyo mag sasacrifice ka na ng ride quality pag tumaas pa dyan.

lagyan mo ng
18x7.5 rim tapos 215/35/18's na gulong.....pogi nyan..hehhee
or 16"s then 205/45/16's
or 17's then 205/45/17's

15" rims would be fine for a pizza pie... 195/55/15 tires... bagay ang gram lights or racinghart replicas. tapos kung gusto mo magimprove ng handling and looks, drop mo ng konti. i think H&R offers their OE Drop lowering kit (1" drop) for the pizzas.
HTH bro.

thanks.. since baguhan lang ako.. eh I'm actually attracted to the brand than the actual looks. and worry ko lang kasi eh may chance na ma-'bingkong' ang rim in long drive? would it happen to those 'branded' rims? like momo for example? (as i've said, newbie ako, the only thing I know is momo rims.. are there any rims better? but those are expensive). Gusto ko rin kasing mag-mukhang 'pogi' ang auto ko.

contact ferman a.k.a. auto_xer via email thru auto_xer*yahoo.com
fusionR yung name ng shop nya located along e. rodriguez.
i think it's best that you stick to ROTA (tangkilikin ang sariling pinoy hehe) tried and tested na ito sa durability and di naman nagkakalayo sa qeight vs. the orig ones (pagdating sa 15"ers) plus the leftover cash you save from not buying the orig ones, you can use for further mods ;)

if you're coming from tomas morato, turn left at e.rod... tapos lampasan mo yung unang street sa right, makikita mo yung fusionR... katabi nya bilyaran.
16" rims cost around 12-13k per set, tapos yung goma, mga 3.2-3.7k per piece.
