July 18th, 2009 04:54 PM #1Hi there,
Just want to ask to all jazz owners (especially who have mags in their cars now) or experienced tsikot members (in mags and tires) what is your recommendation for new mags in a 2005 Honda Jazz
15 or 16 series, offset, etc without needing to adjust springs and no rubs even when loaded.
What shops you can recommend, of course not (Miller)
Live in Q.C.
Thank you in advance for your inputs....

The magic number for offset for GD Jazzes and Cities is +45 or higher. You will definitely not have rear fender rubbing with that offset.
You will also have to pair the wheel with the correct tire size to minimize speedometer error. Here are a few proven combinations on stock ride height:
195/55R15 tire - 15"x6.5" wheel, +40 offset
195/50R16 tire - 16"x6.5"/16"x7.0" wheel, +45 offset
205/45R16 tire - 16"x6.5"/16"x7.0" wheel, +45 offset
205/40R17 tire - 17"x7.0"/17"x7.5" wheel, +45 offset
You can "cheat" somewhat with +42 offset wheels as long as you're particular with the shape of the tire's shoulder.

Wheelhaus along Evangelista is a good shop.
My wheels are Rota Circuit 10s, 16x7.0 +45 4x100. They should cost about Php21,000.
