I am planning to plus size the stock wheels of the Ford Fiesta, so from 195/50r16 to say 205/45r17. However in doing so I'd like to keep the overall wheel weight the same if not lighter. So nag-research ako and went to tire shops in Evangelista and I found these Advanti Racing Storm Series 1 and 2 wheels. For a size 17x7.0 they weigh a mere 15lbs!

Has anybody had experience with the Advanti Racing Storm Series, are they durable?
Should I be concerned with lightweight rims in general, for use on daily drives in Metro Manila? Somehow I get this thinking that lightweight rims are designed for track only (no potholes)?

I'd appreciate the englightenment
