Had my second full tank today.The verdict? 11.25 kms/liter mixed highway/city/mountain driving. I drove it at Edsa traffic, highway (Sunday nung laban ni Pacman walang gaanong sasakyan kaya halos akin ang daan hehehe), then drove it up to Baguio on the same day. Ang saya naman pero naka 13.8 kms/liter ako noon sa Lynx ko mixed driving.

Speaking from experience: DO NOT deal with LA cars if you are afraid they will ruin either the glass or the defogger. I had a very expensive incident with them where my windshield was cracked from at attempt at improper removal of the rearview mirror during tinting. Worse, the owner promised he would take responsibility for replacing the glass if the shop was found responsible by my insurance company, which he later disavowed. He even tried to threaten me by saying his tinter was injured when the windshield cracked!

To add insult to injury, my car even had tint bubbles. If you value your money and your sanity, look elsewhere for tint.

Pangit din experience ko with LA Cars. Malabo quote nila sa price and hindi maganda gawa nila. Hindi ko na binalik dahil baka uminit lang ulo ko. Hahanap nalang rin ako ng ibang shop pag magpapakabit na ako ng dvd

As promised, here are some pics of my very basic audio set-up. It consists of the stock HU of the carens, a single 12 inch Kicker EX sub in a sealed enclosure, a 4 channel California 440 amp, a 236 a/d/s separates for the front channel and the stock speakers in the rear seats as rear fill.

Had no place to permanently place the amp so I opted to place it on top of the sub enclosure. Its not as nice and as clean as other installs, but it'll do since I didnt want to forego with the availability of cargo space should I need it later on. By the way, thats me giving my best smile.

Lastly, a shot of the a/d/s tweeters located just below the A-pillars. The 6.5 inch mid drivers were placed on the stock speaker locations on the front doors.

I'm already on 4,950 km and almost due na ko for 5K PMS. Where do you recommend should I go? I got my unit at Kia Libis. My SA recommend bringing my Carens at Kia Pasig, feedback nman po about their service. Mas ok ba sa Kia Mandaluyong (Signet) or the one at Pasay.

I know there have been discussions abt this before kaya lang ang haba na ng forum eh, di ko na mahanap which page. How much did you pay for the entire PMS, including parts to be changed, oil, and labor? Free dapat yung labor diba? Can I bring my own oil? Ilang cans yung nagamit?

Sorry if I have lots of questions about this, 1st time car owner po eh ;)

sa kia signet ka na lang magpapms. for sure free labor yun. sa kia pasig may charge yata e. and may promo ngayon ang kia for their pms. so I think you'll me paying less than 1600 pesos. may discount ang parts nila and oil ngayon e. got mine pms last june 16 which is the start of their promo and it just cost me 1900 pesos that with labor included. huwag ka na magdala ng sarili mong oil baka ivoid nila warranty mo.

Well baka over excited ka lang sa acceleration mo. ang sarap kasi itaoak yan e. Mine is also a manual transmission and Im averaging 14 up pag highway 8 up pag pure city. Mixed is 10 up. With regards sa namamatayan sa timpla mo lang yan. pag gamit nga ng kapatid ko yun carens lagi din siyang namamatayan e. ay last nagkacarens ka na. congrats.

Do I need to call them up for an appointment or I can just show up. Sa Saturday na ako pupunta. What time sila open?

BTW does anyone know the type of bulb for our hi and low beams? Im planning on upgrading it to philips extremevision for better visibility. thanks

Hi Tailhook. I changed the bulbs when I got my Carens in March, low beam H7 and high beam H1.

They didn't have Xtreme Power for H1, so I ended up using Power2Night for the highbeam and Xtreme Power for the low beam
