Hirap kasi talaga mamili. I am saving for my new darling, and I'm considering Sorento and Terracan. Pero after I was given a price quotation for the 3.7L AT na Jeep Liberty, medyo nagsalawahan na ako. Feedbacks please, Thanks!!!!

anung brand un?..
the Liberty has gotten a reputation (kinda like the rav4) for being a chick car because it's so cute
which is a shame because Jeep makes some very good offroading platforms and this is no exception. although, if you are using it 99% on pavement most Jeeps are not as comfortable as the car-based SUV's like the rav4 and crv.
although with that 3.7l engine your gas bill might be higher than your electric bill

For a Jeep, it's kinda funny that skidplates are 'optional'.
Hindi naman nalalayo ang reliability ng recent Jeeps sa mga Koreans, which is to say not very good.
Only difference is, mahal ang piyesa ng Jeep and good luck finding a mechanic that will touch it.
Kung nasa Korea ka, madaming shops that will handle Korean vehicles (parang dito sa 'Pinas).

if im not mistaken, that 2.7L is the excellent 2.7L common-rail turbodiesel also used in the Mercedes ML270.
(pero syempre, patrol pa rin hehehehe)

2.7 liter?
ang alam ko, you have two options:
150-hp, 2.4-liter I-4
210-hp, 3.7-liter V-6
Kung ihahataw mo or gusto mang-asar ng mga mapopormang race car wannabe drivers, go for the 3.7 L because the 2.4L looks puny sa size nya. My dad has a 1997 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 L I-6 engine. Masyado powerful ang engine nya for its size that's why naghananap ako lagi ng Mustang GT's to race with whenever nagpapalit kami ng sasakyan pag trip nya paglaruan yung truck ko.
It really depends where you want to use it. panggimik? get a 2.4 L then
Let's talk about economy here.
about the Liberty looking such a cutie na it looks like a chick car?
alam mo, totoo yon. I wouldn't recommend it sa mga matatangkad na matso, hehe
you have to consider your personality too when choosing a vehicle. Tulad ng Wrangler...if you're rugged, bakasyonista, or laid-back na tao. mas mura pa yata at mas matipid sa gasolina.
maybe before, you heard some stuff about American vehicles na sirain or something. Sa totoo lang, mas okay na quality nila ngayon (knowing na nasasapawan na sila ng japanese and more people prefer the latter nowadays). wag ka lang kukuha ng cheap-o na american cars like dodge neon or chevy cavaliers.
a lot of people are telling me na yung mga ineexport outside the states....they're more carefully inspected than those who stay inside. Ewan ko lang.
I would go for Jeep na gawa ng Daimler-Chrysler when it comes to compact to mid-sized SUV's over Chevy and Ford. Syempre, you can't compare yung Liberty sa Ford Expedition, pero you can compare it to Ford Escape. Makikita mo difference.
if you want more info from subcompact SUV to full-sized....

May 2.7 diesel na Liberty at Grand Cherokee for sale outside the U.S. market.
And I don't think they're made in the U.S.A.

sa palagay ko naman ay hindi bibigay itong Liberty within three years, hirap ipunin ng pera para palang sumakit ang ulo ko later. Thanks for the feedback, right now i am keeping my sight on the Liberty.

go for it, dude
7 years na nga cherokee ni dad eh. lagi pa namin hinahataw pareho dahil matulin. wala pang engine problems, so far.
