Never said Jaguar was German. But that's the look they're going for. The tiles look to be granite, and while those aren't quite as expensive as the parquet floors of Lexus, they aren't cheap. It's not much different from the PGA or BMW showrooms (we often eat at the rest inside the BMW Alabang showroom)... blank white canvases to display the cars against.
Again, I agree the Lexus showroom is above and beyond (he'll, above and beyond any other showroom I've seen here or otherwise), but the Jaguar showroom isn't any worse than any other of the "high end" showrooms in the country.

not all clients are into nicely-interior-designed showrooms, but of course having one is a plus, sino naman ang may ayaw.
As long as it is clean and shiny. Besides, the product needs to stand out. Like most museums, all white para mas versatile sa displays na exhibit.
But i have to agree, its a little bland.
Some people are into Minimalist and some are not. Minsan pa nga pure concrete finish lang (e.g. Archt Tadao Ando)
Now, about customer lounges, yan ay ibang usapan naman.

Hence, par for the course.
I understand what you and andyeastwest are saying. Hell, if we're rating on a scale of one to ten, the Lexus showroom would be eleven and the others would be five. But that doesn't matter.
BMW and Audi showrooms in Alabang aren't that luxurious inside (like I said, they look pretty much like the Jag showroom. The Audi showroom in particular is cramped), but they sell a whole crapload of cars. All Jaguar has to do is have a showroom in the right location, have the cars on prominent display and not hidden behind fancy roman blinds or hedges, and have salespeople out on the floor.
Again, these are showrooms to sell cars. Period. They have to be reasonably attractive and businesslike. They don't have to look like five star hotels, because they're not selling floor tiles or condominium units.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Jaguar products are generally more expensive than comparable BMW cars. They need better presentation for the High net-worth clients.
Marketing 101 lang yan.
You need to try harder if you want to beat the Germans, the market leaders.
If your effort is just at par, then you have lost already. Lexus knows this. Jaguar does not.
