June 16th, 2018 07:59 PM #1Mga ka tsikot para makatipid madali lang ba magkabit ng fuel pump ng isuzu 4ja1? Nagbili n ako ng bago sabi kasi ng mekaniko papalitin na mahina na dn humatak. Nakita ko kasi 2 hose lang ikakabit in at out lang.

There are two pumps:
1. Fuel transfer/priming pump (low pressure)
2. Injection pump ( moderate pressure).
Replacing the transfer pump can be done by a lower skill level technician.
Replacing the injection pump requires a line technician capabi,ity since it will require removal of the timing components. As per images on google, the injection pump is that of distributor type that bolts directly to the cogged injection pump pulley.

June 17th, 2018 07:02 PM #6Tama mga boss yung primer pump nga,paano ba mag primer ng fuel kala ko kasi tanggal lang ung luma tapos kabit yung bago basta tama yung hose na in and out, saka yung dalawang wire na dilaw at itim san ba naka connect yun,yung nakalagay kasi na luma sa sasakyan ko walang naka connect.

Kung hindi tinitigasan, pwde linisin yung parang dila(valve) sa ilalim naiipon ang dumi doon kaya sumisingaw ang priming.
Walang lift pump ang old diesel engines dito, yung injection pump ang humihigop ng krudo sa fuel tank sa baba. Pero kung papalitan mo nga ang primer bulb/pump, kung paano mo tinanggal ay ganun din ang pagbalik in reverse order. Palitan mo narin ng fuel filter yung nakakabit sa ilalaim at drain ng water separator-yung kinakabitan ng hose sa kanan.
