March 27th, 2008 07:48 AM #1Hi I just had my tanny repaired because it was leaking oil however my mechanic asked me if I could find out the specs for the oil to be used in my tranny, transfer case and rotary? does any on know the specs, brand and viscosity? thanks very much appreciated.

i pressume local 4jg2 engine mo. same as your engine oil, 15W-40. ayan nakalagay sa manual. hth.

yep same for the transfercase but different for the differential. afaik, all 99 truper differentials are LSD so you need GL-5 oil for your differentials. btw. engine oil 15w-40 it is not fully synthetic.
