Isuzu bighorn gearbox

Help ulit! kanina while going home from office, nakaramdam ako ng slack sa steering wheel... habang papalapit na ako sa bahay lumaki yung slack, hangang kumakabyos na yung manibela, may time na kakagat kapag liliko, may time naman na nawawala. buti na lang naiuwi ko pa. ngayon ayaw na talagang lumiko left or right, ikot lang ng ikot yung steering wheel pero yung front wheels hindi nagrerespond.

Gearbox kaya yung bumigay? Narerepair pa ba ito or papalitan na ng buo? Meron bang nabibiling surplus gearbox for isuzu bighorn dito? pareho lang ba yung sa trooper?

Hya,
Check the belts and the steering fluid first. Madalas maluwag lang ang belt. Check also for leaks.

I checked my ride yesterday. Naubos yung ipin nung steering shaft papuntang gearbox, eto yung part after nung joint and before the gearbox. hindi ko alam yung tawag dun sa part na yun.

This is an old thread but I'd like to resurrect it for the benefit of Bighorn owners like me. Have not experienced anything like this in my unit but I'd like to know what fixes did you do, Sir, and how much did it cost you.

I have another thread that also concerns the steering linkage. My unit has an unusually large turning radius which I'd like to fix. Hope somebody could also help in this.

Sorry for failing to update this thread... naubos yung ipin nung shaft papuntang gearbox, nakahanap ako ng surplus part for P450. ok na ride ko. thanks.
