    be purchasing a 2 y/o recon elf (isuzu) mini truck 4 wheeler with fb body...
    fitted with 4JG2 3.0 diesel engine (same sa trooper)...pansin ko lang na mas maliit ito as compared to 4BA1/BC2/BE1 mits 4D30/32 at 12volts lang sya...
    kakayanin/magtatagal kaya...ano usually problema nya?

    Only problem I had was the injectors. Strong and sturdy engine yan. Walang sakit ng ulo for me.

    hello like to revive this thread..i will be installing a 4JG2 NA in my 2wd wrangler any inputs about this engine?reliability and power?does anybody have an idea about final drive ratio or differential gear ratio of elf equipped with this engine?thanks guys.

    on a trooper manual 4jg2NA, 4.777 ang differential ratio. 4.55 sa turbocharged. hth.

    sir will the 4.77 gear ratio still be applicable if the engine came from a isuzu elf?because the engine i have comes from an isuzu elf...does this engine really prone to overheat?

    Buhayin ko lang ulit ang thread.. sana may nagbabasa pa nito.. meron ako trooper local with 4ze1 gas engine.. 2.6l yata.. pinalitan ko ng 4jb1tc.. problem, hirap siya pag paakyat.. very high rpm na.. pero pag pababa walang prob as in ang bilis sobra.. tanong ko is ano po differential ratio nakakabit and ano dapat na ration ang papalit?
