    Please help regarding my automatic transmission. The problem arises when i notice it was emitting black smoke then i have my nozzle tip clean, after cleaning, the smoke is gone but engine lost power. So the mechanic suggest i calibrate the injection pump,the defect is a damage piston with four dent at the end. After calibrating, it emits black smoke and the mechanics put a gi sheet on the gasket to bypass the egr. When test driving, i notice it lacks power and the transmission hardly shift, it shift at 2000rpm, after that it hardly accelerate. I went back to the mechanics , he suspect its the transmission,maybe something is wrong with the module or sensor. I got a second opinion from a transmission specialist and he diagnose maybe the injection pump is delayed. I am confused now whether who to listen. Please help

    If you have piston damage (injector) and black smoke coming out of the exhaust, it's not likely to be a transmission problem. ;)

    di naman kaya dating siraniko sa Rapide yung mechanic mo? every time na pupunta ka magagawa tapos may bagong sira, never ending story. exactly the same m.o. ng Rapide yan.

    My unit is an xuvi 2010 model km reading not more than 29t. I just have my atf change yesterday but the perfomance is the same problem.

    it's in the owner's manual if it hardly shifts shift it manually and bring it to the nearest dealer
    kasi pag salabas yan di alam yung sira kaya mas sakit sa ulo
    kung manual kasi crosswind mo okay lang sa tabi-tabi dahil di pa yan turbo
    D=4th gr.
    2=3rd gear
    L=3rd gear
    saang bang dealer mo yan pina pipms?

    my suggestion is : computerized engine analyzer ... makikita tlga jan kung ano tlga sakit ng car mo ...
