Sir hows your power steering na? Tama yung direction na tinuturo ni sir Glenn. Kung mahirapan ka hanapin, just go to old banawe first, try to look for Colt Master shop. Nagbebenta sila ng oil seals/repair kits para sa p.s racks. Look for Elmer, he will direct you dun sa sinasabi rin ni Sir Glenn na area ng gawaan. hth

Sir ilan odo meter nyo nun bumigay ps ng alterra mo? May alterra din kasi ako. Ngayon ko lang nalaman sirain pala power steering ng alterra. 102k odo na yung sakin. Palit na nga ako ps fluid tomorrow takot nako e. Hehe

Right now, nasa 98K+ and odometer. Last PMS ko was last month, dun sinabi ng Casa ang problem. Di daw sila nagre repair ng power steering rack and pinion. Replace daw yung buong assembly.

Not sure though if the problem was already there even before it reaches the 98K odometer - nag swap kasi kami ng in-laws ko since I needed a bigger car. Pero napansin ko na dati na mabigat ang steering pag hinihiram ko.

I have the same problem with my 4x2 altera power steering pump + rack and pinion; what was the experience with the previous repairs done in Banawe? Do they have replacement parts for the items now? Thanks
