I guess im one owner who has no regrets selling my Trooper. I bought it new in 2003, sold it 2007. No accident, everything was working, well taken cared of, regular PMS, seats were like new, but signs of its sickness was showing. Good thing it was covered by extended warranty with a written letter to IPC.

June 13th, 2019 12:09 AM #29Sir may i ask you coz i have the same problem now.
my first mechanic told me that the problem is the ecm or computer box. He even tried to use another ecm from another trooper (4jx1 too)and my car runs well after installation of the new ecm. However, dahil di ako masyado kumbinsido coz my trooper is still running though there are instances na namamatay pero hindi madalas, i tried to consult another mechanic and he advised me to change the engine oil, oil filters, fuel filter & air filter. Sa ngayon mejo ok na but im still afraid that the ecm might be the real culprit eh mejo mahal yun at wala ako pambili hehe.

June 13th, 2019 12:25 AM #30when parts start getting difficult to find, it's probably time to sell the car.
unless, there is a special reason why not.
